Another fantastic collaboration with my pals at Time Based Arts. My mission: overseeing the fascinating egg-to-kitten transformation. Quite a hairy endeavor, I must say. I had the creative freedom to figure out how to pull it off, with one key rule: keep it mechanical, avoiding anything that hints at a biological process. My goal for this part was to make it both explosive and astonishing, while still maintaining a sense of precision and choreography. I handled everything from design and rigging to animation, rendering, and final composition for the three shots featuring the egg and kitten.
